Abstract
This economic impact report, prepared by Rounds Consulting Group, Inc., examines the solar energy industry’s economic contributions in Arizona. The calculations are based on established industry standards and methodologies typical for such analyses. Our approach includes the use of a proprietary impact model leveraging IMPLAN multipliers, a widely accepted practice in economic impact assessments. IMPLAN is a software and data provider specializing in input-output modeling. IMPLAN multipliers are used to estimate the economic impacts of various industries and activities by measuring direct, indirect, and induced effects on a regional economy. This methodology helps in understanding how economic changes in one sector ripple through to others within a specified geographic area.
