Economic Research & Analyst Intern

As an Economics Research and Analysis Intern at Rounds Consulting Group, Lucy assists the RCG team with policy research, revising documents, and maintaining the firm’s database. She contributes to projects on a range of public policy topics, including county budgeting, energy, and education.

Previously, Lucy worked as a research assistant with the University of Arizona’s Department of Economics, where, with a team, extracted and analyzed thousands of federal records for an American Indian land loss project. She has also interned with a Family, Litigation, Personal Injury, and Immigration attorney, and with HKA, a global consultancy specializing in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, expert witness support, and litigation.

During these experiences, she secured and organized sensitive records, performed market research, modeled data in Excel, and meticulously reviewed data and reports for accuracy on projects including construction damages, internal theft, and valuation.

Lucy also served as a teaching assistant for over 1,000 students in an introductory economics course and as a member of the Economics Advisory Board at the University of Arizona.

Lucy is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in government and public policy at the University of Arizona. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring local coffee shops.
