Senior Economist and Policy Analyst
As a Senior Economist and Policy Analyst at Rounds Consulting Group, Luke aids the team in research, modeling, data analysis, and analytical thinking beyond the numbers. He has worked on projects involving housing affordability, large-scale tourism events, transportation, infrastructure, energy, health care, education, and more.
Luke was born and raised in Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University, where he graduated early with Honors from the Barrett’s Honors College. Additionally, Luke graduated with a Master of Science in Economics with Distinction from the W.P. Carey School of Business, making him one of the top graduate students at the university in 2026.
His undergraduate thesis examined the relationship and impact of federal interest rates on housing affordability in Arizona and the nation as a whole. His master’s thesis evaluated the economic and fiscal impacts of the 2026 NCAA Women’s Final Four held in Phoenix, Arizona.
Luke also gained public policy experience through an internship with Pivotal Policy Consulting, where he worked alongside professionals engaged in Arizona’s legislative and governmental affairs processes. This experience provided firsthand exposure to the state’s policy environment and the relationship between public policy decisions and economic outcomes.
Luke’s technical expertise includes econometric modeling, statistical analysis, forecasting methods, data management, and economic research. He is proficient in a variety of analytical software platforms and specializes in transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for clients and stakeholders.
In his free time, Luke enjoys mountain biking, running, cooking, playing chess, video game speedrunning, and The Lord of the Rings.
