KJZZ News – Economist: High Inflation is a Sign Arizona’s Economy is in ‘Pretty Good Shape’

Arizona’s economy is one of the best in the nation right now, but our state is also being hit hardest by inflation. The Valley’s prices are feeling an 11% hit, with the national average at 8%.

And though the unemployment rate is very low, a number of industries — including tourism and hospitality and restaurants — are still having a challenging time attracting new employees. How will this affect us in the short-term future?
